Pre-submitted Member Questions

 Limberlost Transfer station (Mike Peppard)

1.  There are currently bins set up for paper/ cardboard and the other bin for containers, metal. . Would it be possible to add another bin for e-waste/ old electronics?  Also can Hazardous waste be added?

2. When will the re-use building open again - as most services and facilities in Ontario have re opened.  (Other Resident's associations in our area also have this question and would support the re-opening)

3.  Bag limit, for Seasonal residents could it be tags and an annual or seasonal limit instead?

Camp lake Dam Rehabilitation Project (Lorna Roberts)

 1. Is there a plan that can be shared?

2. Will water levels be impacted either during or post construction?

3. How long will construction take?

4. Will the access road be closed up following completion?

Lake Water levels (Lorna Roberts)

This year we had higher water levels than normal, how are they determined and managed?

Wakeboard Boats- damage to docks and shorelines (Lorna Roberts)

According to FOCA, this is a question throughout Ontario.  Is there any legislation coming, or ways to limit the damage from Wakeboard Boats?

Roads and Snow Ploughing (Mike Peppard)

Beyond the end of Muskoka Road 8, road is narrow with a blind curve going up the hill, is there a plan to widen it?  Currently there are many construction projects in the area, with large trucks using the hill.

We are still receiving comments from membership about lack of Winter Parking availability at Tasso Lake, at Toad Lake Landing, at Muskoka Road 8 road end. What other solutions are there? What would it take to create winter parking in our area?  Do other Associations have this issue? How did they resolve it?

Hydro One - Elimination of Seasonal Rate Class (Jim Morrison)

Key points of the results

 Are there any questions about

- Actions taken in the past 2 years?
